Yes, it’s Snoop Dogg’s favorite strain, and legendary for its energetic, creative, social and upliftingly happy effects. Originally called Cush when it emerged as an early descendant of Skunk Number 1 in 1970s Georgia, a later cut was renamed by the Hip Hop king of Cannabis, Snoop Dogg. A fascinating wonderclass in Cannabis genetics and history, Skunk 1 is a cross of three legendary (and possibly exinct) strains. Acapulco Gold and Colombian Gold were both cherished cuts of New World Sativas. Crossed with Afghani Indica to alleviate the paranoia caused by those early pure Sativas, the resulting strain was named Skunk for its intense pungent aroma during flowering.
